Lou is currently a Board member and the Community Liaison for the Philippine. Nurses ‘Association of Hawaii. Lou was the head nurse at Tripler Army Medical Center’s Dialysis Department. Lou left Tripler Army Med. Center and founded Lou’s Quality Home Health Care Services, LLC. Lou opened a State of Hawaii Certified Nursing Assistant Training Course Program, NACTP A+B, Advanced Care Training, LLC (ACT).

While Lou’s commendations and recognitions are too numerous to be mentioned here, In 2017, she was voted as the Philippine Nurses’s Association’s Entrepreneur of the year, 2017.

Lou is the mother of four successful children and a grandmother to 5. In spite of busy life, Lou also shares her knowledge and skills with other professional organizations. In addition to serving with The Caregiver Foundation, she also serves as an adviser to, The Professional Caregivers Association, the Caregivers Association of Hawaii, and is an in service provider for the Adult Residential Care home Operators (ARCA). She co –founded the Health Care Ministry of St. John’s, and is an active member of Soroptimist International.

Goals and vision : Lou’s continuing goal is to maintain the ongoing education of the home health care aides , nursing assistants , companion aides , handi-van drivers and to enable them to provide safe , quality nursing care .Maintain and uphold the standard of the CNA school. Obtain federal contracts to provide nursing services to military facilities, clinics.

Lou’s motto: Success is not measured by the car we drive, the house we live in or money in the bank $$, we will be remembered by the lives we have touched and the difference we made along the way.
