Eleanor Otake
was born in Lai’emaloo, Oahu (known to most now as Lai’e) where she attended Lai’e Elementary School, then graduated from Kahuku High School and went on to Kentucky Christian College. Now retired, Eleanor has worked as a travel reservation planner, postal clerk, secretary, teacher, vice principal and principal. Retiring from Sunset Beach Christian School she has remained active in the ongoing music ministry and financial work for Hau’ula Church of Christ and is an active Member of our Board of Directors. “I served as a caregiver for both of my parents and other family members. My desire is serving others as a board member of The Caregiver Foundation.”
